What is a House Concert?
A house concert is simply defined as a musical event presented in someone’s home. House concerts are put on by dedicated music lovers who open their homes and invite you to share in a performance by one of their favorite musicians.
For the audience, a house concert is a chance to experience music in a warm and intimate environment. It’s a chance to meet the performers and get them to sign their CD. A house concert is also a great social evening of friends and music fans.
House concerts are a wonderful grass roots phenomenon. They are fun to attend, fun to present and fun to play.

Attending a House Concert
Simply email me at rod@evocativesounds.com if you would like to attend. The space is limited so it is best to RSVP early so that you won't miss out! These are casual events and are a mix of friends, family and anyone else who would like to come. We really are a laid back group so no need to by shy if you dont know anyone...I promise you will feel right at home.
These concerts are typically by "suggested donation" from $10-20 at the door.  100% of the money collected goes directly to the performer.  The host will provide the space, wine, beer, soda and light snacks. This makes a pretty inexpensive evening out so what are you waiting for? RSVP already!
